AccorHotels is set to open a new Mercure property this November.
Housed within four grade II listed town houses, the Mercure London Hyde Park will be within walking distance of Paddington and Lancaster Gate underground stations. It will have 72 rooms, including three suites, a restaurant, bar and fitness center.
This is the third Mercure to open in central London, joining properties in Kensington and Paddington.
Commenting on the opening, managing director of AccorHotels UK and Ireland Thomas Dubaere said:
“This will be a great new hotel in a prime site in the heart of London and marks another step in the growth of our brands in the UK. Accelerating the franchise growth of the Mercure brand is one of our strategic priorities and this is the kind of opportunity we’re looking to replicate in the right sites across the UK.”
The 4-star brand has 86 hotels nationwide, 732 internationally in 55 countries.
