Have you always fancied an early morning park run, but never quite summoned enough weekend motivation? Why not try something a little gentler and join SoulWalk in Hyde Park on Sunday 17th November?
Starting at 9.30am and lasting around 90 minutes, this 3km walk is open to anyone and everyone: bring family, friends, children, dogs – or just bring yourself. Whether you want to connect with nature, meet other people, or just enjoy some peace and quiet, you’re free to meander at your own pace and simply enjoy a little respite from the chaos of daily life.
SoulWalk is a branch of goodness and wellbeing organisation, Soulhub. Founded by walking therapist Carmen Rendell, SoulWalk aims to raise awareness of the power of walking to improve mental and physical health. There are five London SoulWalks this autumn, kicking off Carmen’s epic Sole2Soul walk starting in January 2020, which will see her starting at Weston-super-Mare and winding her way anticlockwise around the coast. As well as promoting awareness, Sole2Soul will be raising money for ASCA (Addiction Services and Carers Association).
Sunday 17th November’s walk starts at Hyde Park’s Will to Win Café, so staying with us leaves you perfectly placed to enjoy this idyllic start to a Sunday. Dress for the weather, and enjoy soaking up Hyde Park’s autumnal beauty with like-minded, gentle souls!
