Very close to several bus stops and to Paddington station
After having stayed in 4 other hotels in the area I loved this one. It is nice, clean, rooms are good sized. There is everything in the rooms a traveler might need - toiletries, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, hand lotion. All that neroli-bergamot scented. They provide slippers and bathrobes too. There is a complimentary minibar with some soft drinks and water which they fill up for you every day. The breakfast choices are amazing - I had French toasts with berries and honey - so yummy!
great location
most enjoyable stay. nice clean room with all the facilities we asked for. we asked to be able to book in at14:00 but were not able to until 15:00. I can understand it is not always possible.
This is a wonderful hotel
This is a wonderful hotel, very well located close to Paddington Station - where you will be advised to leave your car, as there is no on-site parking. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient, although we had to ask about breakfast and discover the free internet ourselves. The rooms are a good size and have been renovated to a good standard. There is a free mini bar in your room, which comes with Coca Cola, water, prosecco and orange juice. The only negative area is the breakfast.
Great fromt desk service
The hotel is fantastic. I have to mention that Witek at the front deck made my visit very special. He was so helpful and really went above and beyond. I would visit again just because of him. Thank you! The gym is great as well. I come to this hotel every time I am in London.
Comfortable and quiet
A great location 6 minutes walk from Paddington station and with great restaurant options minutes away. My room on the 1st floor was relatively spacious by London standards, with very comfortable bed and really quiet, even though it faced the front and Talbot Park. Staff were efficient and friendly. Complimentary water, juice and sodas in the room fridge were appreciated and toped up daily. Great shower. Didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on dining options. I have stayed in a few other hotels in the Sussex Gardens area but would definitely return to the Mercure in the future if available.
Very good stay
I stayed at the Mercure Hyde Park London from 3 August to 9 August 2024, and overall, it was a very good experience. The staff were incredibly nice, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay feel comfortable from the start. The hotel was very clean, with housekeeping taking care of the rooms every day. Good Paddington hotel
Good location close to Paddington and Hyde Park. Room was small but comfortable with a good bed and ensuite. Happy hour is appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Service is great.
We are having a great stay at the mecure hyde park. Really impressed with service and hospitality of Renee on the front desk. Highly recommend it for business and pleasure. Easy access to paddington station. Great food and pub options close.
Couldn’t be more helpful
Service was amazing. Well looked after. Arrived, gave me late check out and breakfast even though not included. Gave me great directions on where to go, a porter wheeled my cases all the way to Paddington Station. Beds great, facilities always amazing.
A lovely stay
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Room was spotless and well equipped and the location was perfect for Hyde Park concerts and easy access to the city. Breakfast was excellent. All the staff were great with Sophia on the front desk being particularly helpful and cheerful.
